I am very excited you are here!  I'm Mallory, and I am a certified Reiki Master, Meditation Coach and Mindfulness Coach.

My mission in life is to help people feel good.

The thought of being able to assist with the natural healing process of humans and animals with reiki therapy had me intrigued when I first heard about reiki therapy. When I started classes, I practiced reiki on myself and then began to practice on my family members, and pets.  After branching out and practicing on friends as well, I began to build a client base from word of mouth.

I consider myself to be an empath, someone who:

- feels an extreme need to care for others

- is drawn to nature and animals

- can feel/sense others pain, stress, or emotions

- is interested in holistic healing and the metaphysical arts

- people gravitate towards and talk to about their problems

- doesn't like conflict

- extremely sensitive to chaos on television, movies, and in real-life

- others are drawn to for trust

(among other features)

Reiki is an extremely rewarding career.  I love the satisfaction of knowing that I am making people feel better physically, mentally, and spiritually.  I truly feeI that have found my calling in life.

I have three beautiful daughters, and if there is one thing the pandemic has taught me, it's that in order to care for others, you need to take care of yourself first.  I became a first-time mom with our daughter, Charlotte, in 2016, still working full time.  I eventually figured out (somewhat) how to create a work-life balance, but it took me a few more years to finally realize that I wasn't taking care of myself the way I needed to in order to truly be successful both personally and professionally.  I was so focused on making sure my daughter and husband were taken care of and I was putting every possible effort in at work, that I forgot to make sure I was centered and grounded.

It wasn't until we had our second daughter, Rhyleigh, in 2020 that this reality hit me.  Because of the pandemic, I was furloughed from my job as a floral designer at the time.  Being home with my kids taught me that things are going to happen that are out of your control, but if you keep yourself balanced, you will be able to live a more stress-free lifestyle.

Between 2020 and 2021 I did some serious soul searching.  I wrote a list of everything I love to do and everything I really don't love to do as much in my personal and professional life.  The things I loved all pointed in the direction of reiki and spirituality: gardening, yoga, creative arts, meditation, animals, helping others, healing crystals, wanting to know more about my purpose in life.  I knew I could never be a nurse (like my sister or grandmother) because I cannot deal with blood or anything of that nature.   That's when I came across an ad for a course to become certified in Reiki therapy.

I received my Reiki Level 1, Reiki Level 2, and Reiki Master certification from Susanne Ritsch of Blissful Careers.  I would highly recommend this course.  Sunny goes into great detail about every aspect of reiki from the principles of reiki and reiki symbols all the way to starting your own business.  I appreciated the self-paced course which allowed me to log on to the course at any time that was convenient to my schedule.  If you are looking to become certified in reiki, take the time to check out her course.

In addition to reiki, I would like to eventually add crystal and sound healing into my regimen for clients.  I am looking into the Holistic Serenity Crystal Healing Course.  Nicole Shields is an approved trainer by The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine.  Her course has wonderful reviews and was recommended to me through the same network as my reiki course.  I look forward to taking that course soon!

A little more about me and my family:

Our third little girl, Linnea, came along in October of 2021.  She is a fun little nugget of love, and we couldn't be happier!

Our family loves the outdoors!  We go hiking and bike ride through trails in the woods.  My girls love to help me with gardening, especially picking vegetables when they're ready.  We have two dogs, Henny (and Am Staffy/Neopolitan Mastiff mix) and Sophie (a White Shepard).

I look forward to getting to know you and helping you balance your overall health, harmony, and happiness!
